Intensive: Magical Music

$195.00

A student intensive like no other! Join your Cherry Hill Seminary friends and colleagues for an immersive participatory musical experience, led by Rev. Karen LeBlanc (our own beloved “Gwen”). No musical background or expertise is necessary for attending, though you will be learning and sharing songs, chants, and ways to use them in ritual and other occasions. Friday and Sunday mornings are CHS guests only, while Saturday morning will be an open workshop for anyone attending Mystic South in Atlanta, GA. Karen brings a lifetime of personal and group practice, a treasure-trove of songs and chants, years of experience leading and performing music, and seven years leading the congregation of New Bedford (Massachusetts) Unitarian Church. You are invited to bring your own favorites to share, even an instrument if that is your thing. Graduate students will read and respond to three articles in the online classroom, and submit post-event journaling, to earn 1 credit hour towards their degree. All are invited to attend, including non-matriculated students and anyone else with an interest. Separate registration to Mystic South is required and gives admission to dozens of speakers and workshops, rituals, and evening entertainment, the Cherry Hill Seminary open house on Thursday evening, vendors and more. Learn more about Mystic South, the southeast’s best Pagan conference of the year, including hotel and local restaurants info. $195 early registration/$235 after March 31.
