Seeking: Newsletter Coordinator

Cherry Hill Seminary seeks a volunteer staff Newsletter Coordinator (reposted 8-23-19)

Duties

a. Gathers and edits content for monthly email newsletter, including announcements, articles, links, photos/graphics, and basic organizational information, including fundraising messages.
b. Sets up newsletter using online template (Constant Contact), submits for approval by Executive Director or designee, and distributes by 15th of each month.
c. Reports to Executive Director.

Qualifications

a. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
b. Good knowledge of commonly-used software, internet and basic hardware issues.
c. Ability to exercise good judgment about appropriate content.
d. Excellent grammar, spelling, writing skills.
e. Good eye for simple design.
f. Commitment to excellence and to CHS mission. Will use own high-speed internet connection and computer.

Hours

Approximately four hours per week, flexible time.

Compensation

Free half-tuition for one master’s-level course per semester, or equivalent in other courses. Newsletter Coordinator is entirely responsible for compliance with all student requirements for his or her program, and employment by Cherry Hill Seminary will in no way affect the outcome of academic progress. Newsletter Coordinator is under no obligation to participate in classes, but no other compensation is offered at the time of this agreement.
