Opportunity description
Seeking a volunteer to recruit and coordinate Cherry Hill Seminary volunteers, The volunteer will be working directly with a computer savvy and motivated Executive Director.

Role
• Review individuals interested in a volunteer position and bring to management for approval.
• Maintain a volunteer schedule (usually flexible) to support both volunteers and the roles they fill for CHS.
• Communicate regularly with each volunteer to provide encouragement, answer questions, assure successful volunteer activity, and engage volunteers with CHS activities.
• Provide or ensure provision of appropriate orientation and training.
• Provide occasional volunteer profile to CHS newsletter editor to recognize service.
• Attend monthly virtual staff meeting.

Person description
We are looking for someone who has a desire to help people develop their calling in Pagan/nature-based spirituality. We seek someone who is able to work as part of a team, who is open-minded, and able to engage with diverse groups within the Pagan and Nature-based spirituality communities.

Essential:
∙ Strong communication and “people” skills
∙ Good organizational ability
∙ Strong work habits and follow-through
∙ Able to self-motivate and work well as part of a team
∙ Awareness and understanding of the broad Pagan community
∙ Comfortable with computer and online environment, with good internet connection

Desirable:
∙ Experience with staffing and/or volunteer management
∙ Commitment to multifaceted diversity and meeting of inclusion challenges
∙ Passion about helping to bring positive change to the spiritual communityDesire to impact the lives of others through education

Impact of this opportunity
Your donated time allows Cherry Hill Seminary to raise its profile and become visible to the broader academic and Pagan community. You will assist Cherry Hill Seminary with meeting key volunteer needs (e.g., newsletter, graphic design, social media, marketing), enabling us to better serve our students, donors and the wider Pagan community.

Time commitment
