Are you brand new to Cherry Hill Seminary and thinking of taking a class?
Here’s what you can expect if you are taking anything as a non-master’s student (master’s applicants go here instead):
- Fill out this very short registration form. You only need to do it once – after that, you are in our system.
- The office will receive notice that you have registered. When we process you into the Populi student system it will send you an email. *Be sure to respond to that email asap as it’s only good for a few days.*
- Once you are set up in Populi, log in and go to My Profile on the main menu. On your profile look for a menu tab that says Registration. There it will show the courses you may register for.
- If you’ve seen a course on our web site or newsletter that you want to take and it is not listed there, contact us.
- After you are registered we will invoice you for tuition. You can pay tuition any time by going to your profile and clicking the Financial tab. Read more about our tuition rates and potential payment plans.
- Go to the student catalog to read more about our technology. Basically, you are going to have a web-based “homeroom” for your class in Populi where the instructor will post a syllabus and assignments.
- About class meetings – most have a virtual meeting by Zoom. The link for your meetings is in the classroom upper right corner with meeting day and time. (Exceptions to this are Spiritual Direction and Community Ministry certificate students who will access their classrooms in Moodle – we will send you that info.)
It’s really not as complicated as it sounds, and we do everything we can to make it easy for you. Just let us know if you ever need help.
