City of Refuge: Lessons From the Starhawk Novel

City of Refuge, written by Starhawk, is more than literature; it is a roadmap and quest for all those seeking to create and sustain a revolution while also creating a world in which we want to live and support.

This Insights course will look at the literary features of the novel while delving into the lessons inherent in Starhawk’s Earth activist teachings.

Each student will develop an activist plan that they will be able to put into practice. Students are encouraged to read the novel before taking the class.
