IMPORTANT: Nov. 7, 2014 memo

Hello to fall teachers and students,

The fall classes have been moved to a temporary server. This horribly inconvenient timing is a product of an upgrade occurring on Dreamhost, our server, which will cause the current version of Moodle to stop working. We are literally moving Moodle off Dreamhost so as to be able to complete the semester. It was our hope to be able to move the classrooms intact, but after quite a lot of work, that proved to be impossible. I reloaded any files I was able to find, but was not able to recreate forum posts. However, most forums send out automatic emails with the posts, so it’s likely you have copies via email. If there is something in the old Moodle you need, contact me and I’ll see if I can get you a copy. I should be able to access that much.

[Above] is the direct link to the temporary Moodle. This will only be good until the end of the fall semester.

Your username is the first letter of your first name followed by your last name, all lower case with no extra characters. For example, John Morningstar would be  jmorningstar. If your name is hyphenated, the hyphen will be removed. For Example, Jane Silver-Morningstar would be jsilvermorningstar.

Once you log in, you may change your password.

A fully upgraded version of Moodle will be available for the spring semester, and I know you will appreciate some of the changes, which will include things like being able to drag and drop files for upload. There is also very much improved security.
